Hampshire County Cricket Club, founded in 1863, is one of the 18 major county clubs, which make up the English and Welsh domestic cricket structure. They are nicknamed The Royals and play their home matches at The Rose Bowl.

The club have won 2 county championships in total, the last being in 1973. They were also the first team to win the Twenty20 trophy in 2010 and have since won the trophy again in 2012.
