About Dundee FC

Dundee FC are a professional football club based in the city of Dundee, Scotland, founded in 1893. They are nicknamed The Dark Blues or The Dees and play their home matches at Dens Park.

Dundee’s shirt colour is a traditional dark blue and they play in the top tier of the Scottish football league – the Scottish Premiership. The city of Dundee, like Glasgow, has two teams in the Scottish Premier League. Dundee United’s , ground is a mere 200 yards away from Dens Park

In May 2014, the club won the Scottish Championship title with a 2–1 home win to Dumbarton F.C. and have retained their status in the top tier since. The Dees finished the 2015/16 campaign in 8th place, thereby ensuring the club remains in the Scottish Premiership for the 2016/17 season.
